"Happy Birthday to You" is the official name of the song, and (interestingly enough) it is copyrighted by a man named Warner Chappell although the true origin of this short tune dates back to a Kentucky schoolhouse in the 1893. It is there that the simple tune "Good Morning to All" evolved into (as declared by the Guinness Book of World Records) "the most well recognized song in the English language." |
