Phish has played many cover tunes over the years from bands such as the Beatles, the Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd & Syd Barrett, Bob Dylan, The Talking Heads, Neil Young, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Bob Marley, Son Seals, Duke Ellington, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Eric Clapton, Velvet Underground, Jimi Hendrix, Prince, Queen, Little Feat, The Rolling Stones, and Ween. Songs such as My Mind's Got a Mind of its Own, Boogie On Reggae Woman, Funky Bitch, Cracklin' Rosie, Freebird, Sneakin' Sally Through The Alley, Whipping Post, Sweet Adeline, My Soul, A Day in the Life, Cities, Crosseyed and Painless, Rock and Roll, and La Grange have been Phish staples over the years, which has helped expose the phans to artists they might not normally have listened to. And of course there are the Halloween shows when Phish donned a musical costume to cover an album in full: The White Album, Quadrophenia, Remain In Light, Loaded and the post-Halloween bonus costume for Dark Side of the Moon.
