Time for the Meatstick 1999 brought about some change. For the first time in years, their arrangement on stage changed. Trey moved to the far right, while Mike one spot to the left, and Fish going dead center. Their music also had some evolutionary change. Starting on the Summer Tour they began exploring a unique "sonic ambience". This sound would drive them into the Fall. The band then hit upon a dancehall vibe during the Winter Tour.
